Short cv:

I started my career as a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy, specialising in animal production in 2016 at the African University of Technology and Management in Benin. This allowed me later to complete a Master in Fisheries Management and Aquaculture at the University of Abomey-Calavi in Benin. My thesis examined the dynamics of the Pentanemus quinquarius population and establishment of a geographic information system for the management of fisheries on the Beninese continental shelf.

Parallel to my studies, I worked as a research assistant in a Geographic Information System and Remote Sensing laboratory of the Faculty of Science Agronomy at the University of Abomey-Calavi. These different courses have taught me new knowledge and skills and have definitely motivated me to pursue a career as an observational oceanography researcher. Thus, after my Master's degree, I obtained a Master's scholarship in Climate Change and Marine Science in Cabo Verde through the WASCAL Program. My research focused on the Development of low-cost instrumentation for advanced observations in underwater ecology, which was part of the objectives of the MeerWissen African-German Partners for Ocean Knowledge - Coastal Ecosystem Monitoring in Cabo Verde (CEM_CV) project.

Today, I am having a Training in Observational Oceanography at NF-POGO Centre of Excellence in Germany which is helping me to sharpen my knowledge and my skills to be more efficient and proactive in the field of observational oceanography.
